| | What is the point of gaining more knowledge than needed if one is not able to teach what one has learned?
~ The Lord's servant must not quarrel; instead, he must be kind to everyone, able to teach, not resentful. 2 Timothy 2:24 NIV ~ It doesn't appear that teaching is a "gift." Teaching must be of one's own will. It doesn't come with the package of life. Teaching is not part of the sinful nature. Teaching is a form of reproduction, which was one of the first and last commandments - to reproduce, make disciples, multiply, etc. Therefore, it can be inferred that teaching is godly, if teaching the Truth. Reproduction is important; if it did not exist, no more generations, hence death.
Jesus Christ, forgive me for the sin of lust for knowledge in my life. Teach me how to teach the Truth, which I have learned from You, to others. I want to be useful. Kristin - is she all, Rabbi?
